Travis Baker is currently in post-production on his first film, Mischief Night, which he wrote and directed. Featuring Malcolm McDowell (and at least one severed head), the horror film seeks to subvert the slasher genre, and utilizes all the skills he honed while writing screenplays for producers like Eli Roth and Wes Craven. An award-winning playwright, his stage work has been produced off-Broadway by Stephen Sondheim and Alfred Uhry. His writings as a film historian are routinely published with special edition Blu-ray and DVD releases for various studios, including the anniversary editions of Easy Rider and Dr. Strangelove.
